Helpful Hints

  • 24 months and 2T items will be hung on the same rack.
  • When hanging pants, be sure you PIN the pants to the hanger shoulders, not the straight bottom edge, to keep them from sliding around and to display them best.
  • Hang the shirt on the hanger and then pin the pants to the back of the shirt at shoulders, catching the top of the hanger. This allows shoppers to see the pants easily and prevents them from becoming separated from the outfit.
  • If you choose to hang pieces of a matching outfit on separate hangers (i.e. delicate fabric that may be damaged by pins), secure the necks of the hangers with a cable tie. Do not use rubber bands for this purpose! Make certain pants will stay on the hanger!
  • Stuffed animals do not sell well. Please limit stuffed animals to battery operated varieties like Tickle Me Elmo, etc...
  • Consignors may bring a maximum of 5 pairs of like-new shoes. Old sneakers and scuffed pairs will not sell no matter how low you price!
  • Consider providing manuals and/or internet reviews for high-dollar items, especially if they have unique features. Secure them to items in a Ziploc bag.
  • Check books for missing, torn pages. If you group multiple titles, seal in a Ziploc with clear packing tape, attach tag to bag and list all titles under tag description.
  • Make sure videos, CDs, etc. are in their CORRECT packages and seal with masking tape.
  • Toys and baby equipment MUST have batteries as needed to show customers that they are in good working order. We cannot offer returns, so shoppers are quite wary to purchase items that may not work. Dollar stores sell batteries.
  • Puzzles, games and all multi-pieced items MUST be complete. Assemble them or count items to verify completeness, then mark "all pieces included" on tags and seal to prevent loss.
  • Cribs, portable cribs, swings and ALL furniture must be assembled by you to display effectively. We have a 100% selling record of all assembled cribs to date!
  • Baby bathtubs, weathered/rusty bicycles, and most bedding (including comforters and bumpers) require more space than we can allow, given their poor sale's record. Pottery Barn and boutique bedding may be brought to drop-off for approval. Please do not bring other listed items.
  • We can only accept socks and underwear if they are in like new condition and are grouped by gender and size such that the package is worth at least $1.
  • For our Spring/Summer sale held in February/March, please don't bring winter coats, winter sweaters, corduroys, winter boots (rain boots are ok), turtlenecks, black patent shoes, velvet, flannel, fleece, thermal, wool, sweatshirts/sweatpants, Christmas items, footed pj’s and similar items that are clearly intended for cold weather. Spring weight jackets, long pants and long sleeves will be accepted only if they can be worn on a TYPICAL day April-August!
