Dropping Off
- Saturday, September 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
You do not need an appointment to drop off.
If possible, we ask that last names A-G come 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., H-O 1:00-3:00 p.m., and P-Z 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. (preferred, NOT mandatory times).
What to do in advance to prepare for a pleasant drop-off experience:
- Make certain you have pre-registered online and have received e-mail confirmation. Hotmail and AOL users often do not get email confirmation. Be sure you have kidseverywear.com in your safe senders list. If you lose your email confirmation, bring your ID and code to the sale to shop early. Email gailwalker@kidseverywear.com to register ONLY if you do not have web access or experience problems.
- Double check that items have been properly hung and tagged.
- Double check that tags and pieces are secure.
- Double check that tag info is accurate and complete.
- Group all clothing items by gender and size. Place a rubber band around the hangers of each group. Layer rubber-banded groups in boxes, keeping girls and boys separate.
- Pre-sort like items into boxes or grocery bags, i.e. one for hats, one for books, etc.
- Pack an emergency kit with blank tags, pens, packing tape, cable ties and safety pins, just in case you arrive and find a tag has wiggled loose!
- Bring an unlabelled cardboard box to leave for unsold items
- Remember: Mommy and Juniors Mart items will not be accepted until Sunday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Drop-off procedure
When you arrive you will:
- Pull car to service bay #400 and unload all non-apparel items: toys, furniture, baby equipment, homeschool materials, etc. Check poster on building listing items for this location. Stack items on sales floor.
- Pull car to service bay #280 and unload clothing and miscellaneous apparel items including shoes, hats, etc. Check poster on building listing items for this location. Stack items on sales floor. Parking is VERY limited on this end of the mall. You may want to park at a mall entrance and wheel your clothing items in on a stroller or cart.
- Move car to a designated mall parking spot.
- Check-in will be at the mall entrance to #280. You are responsible to verify that all your consignor information is correct in our system. When you arrive, find your CODE on the printouts by holding one of your tags up against the printout. Verify that the sheet lists your name beside the code. Meticulously double check all information. Any discrepancies must be brought to our attention at DROP OFF to ensure that you get paid for your items! If all information is correct, you will simply highlight your name. See us to make any corrections.
- Place all items in designated places on sales floor. Racks, bins and shelves are clearly labeled and there are ceiling signs and volunteers available to direct you. This part goes much more smoothly if you have pre-sorted items as recommended above!
- Stack empty, unlabelled box in either store's storeroom.
- Once your items are in the proper spots and assembled as required, we ask that you exit quickly to keep traffic flowing smoothly! We realize that it is VERY tempting to browse, but ask that you refrain and join us at your earliest possible shopping convenience! There will still be volunteer slots available (see computer check-in personnel), should you decide that you just have to get back early once you see all the goodies!
NOTE: You will need passes for all of the preview sales. These passes will print on your registration confirmation, including a pass for the half price sale and for an unlimited number of your friends to shop at the friends sale. Your name is on your pass. We will check you in by ID when you arrive at your appointed time to shop early. If you do not have this pass because you lost or did not receive the email, you may check-in to shop using your ID. Please do not email to request a pass to shop!
